border design: grey blocks tutorial

I don't know what else to call these, so this is it lol. These are the things that go on the outside of all the designs you have in the border.

The Steps

1. Save this. Open it in PS and define each one to your brushes. Make sure you name them so you don't get them mixed up

  • The one that says "top grey block" is the block you use for the TOP and BOTTOM rows of a border.
  • The "side grey block" is for both SIDES of the border.

  • It's important that you don't get the top and side grey blocks mixed up, so be careful.


    2. Use the pencil tool. Use color #eaeaea to place the grey blocks wherever you need them.

    Here are multiple examples of them being used and I labeled them to give you a better visual.
