border design: rectangles v2 tutorial

You'll be making something like:

The Steps

1. Save this. Define both brushes as a brush. One is the tiniest little square it's hard to even see right here, but it's there.

2. Use the pencil tool to place rectangle brush in the first color of your color scheme. (This is zoomed in 1200% so you see it better).

Here it is not zoomed in

3. Now place the second rectangle in the 2nd color of your color scheme.

4. Place the 3rd and 4th rectangles in the 3rd and 4th color schemes.

This is what it looks like not zoomed

5. Now it's time to place the tiny little squares on top of the rectangles.
So use the color black and place them like this with the pencil tool.
***MAKE SURE THEY ARE SPACED PERFECTLY LIKE THIS! Spacing is so important!***

6. Now on the 2nd rectangle, use the color white this time and place the squares like you did in the first rectangle.

7. On the 3rd rectangle, use the color black again.

8. 4th rectangle will have white little squares.

This is all of it not zoomed in!
