  • brush gradient tutorial

    What you'll need:
  • One of the Photoshop Programs

  • What you'll be making:

    The Steps

    1. Create a new layer and put your brush down in whatever color you want. I like to use 2b2b2b and e2e2e2. I'm using 2b2b2b for this tutorial though.

    2. Hold in the CTRL key on your keyboard and click the thumbnail of the layer (the little preview of the layer). Your brushes you placed should be selected now.

    3. Click "Select >> Modify >> Expand." Expand it by 2 pixels and click ok.

    4. Click "Layer >> New Fill Layer >> Gradient >> ok." Select your gradient and choose whichever angle you want. Drag the gradient layer under the brush layer.

Add a drop shadow @ 10% opacity, Distance: 0, Spread: 0, Size: 5. You can add glitter to the gradient stroke if you want, but for this tutorial I didn't.
