change text color tutorial

Don't know how to change the color of text? Well this will teach you!

What you'll need:
  • One of the Photoshop Programs
  • A color scheme of your choice

  • What you'll be making:

    The Steps

    1. Type out the text you want in black, use whatever font you want. And open up your color scheme.

    2. You should still be clicked on the text tool. Now, Using your computer mouse highlight the first letter. (for example- like how you copy and paste words - you highlight the words and then you click copy) Well just highlight the first letter of your text.

    3. Click the color square thing. I outlined it in red.

    4. The color box will pop up. And you should have been automatically clicked on the eyedropper tool when you clicked the square thing. If not, click on the eyedropper tool.

Click the FIRST color of your color scheme (your color scheme should be opened) You should now see that color here

Click ok. Now the first color of your text should be colored.

    5. Click the text tool. And using your computer mouse yet again highlight the 2nd letter of your text. Now you do the same things we did above for this letter, but fill it in with the 2nd color of your color scheme. Repeat all of the above for the rest of the letters. Then you're done!

    Finished Product:
(I put a dark background on so you can see the color better and I changed the font)
