corner deco v1 tutorial

You'll be making something like:

the steps

1. Click on the 'Elliptical Marquee Tool' (the circle tool). Lol this part can be a pain in the ass so you might have to do it 500 times. Use it like this:

Click "Select >> Inverse". Use the paint bucket tool and put a grey looking color in there.

I don't want two of these corners so I'm gonna put a rectangle tool around them and push the backspace key to delete them.

2. Hold in the CTRL key and click the layers thumbnail. The layer should be selected now.

Click "Select >> Modify >> Expand >> Expand it by 2 pixels."
Click "Layer >> New Fill Layer >> OK >> Choose the color white.

3. Move the original grey layer on top of the white one.

Add a 1px scanline stroke to the white layer. Add a dropshadow. mine is opacity: 20%, Distance: 0, Spread: 0, and Size: 5.

4. Hold in CTRL and click on the grey layers thumbnail. Decide what you want to do for this corner. I'm gonna do a bg psd looking corner, so I'm gonna click "Layer >> New Fill Layer >> Gradient >> OK >> choose your grd."

Add the rest of the stuff you want. If you don't really know what to do than check out my bg psd tutorial >> {CLICK HERE} <<.
When you're finished, save it as a PSD.
