you'll be making something like:
the steps1. If you don't know how to use/place a vector mask than please do that first.
Hold in the CTRL key and click the vector mask thumbnail. (if you don't understand that than check out step 1 on this (click here) tutorial. Click Select >> Modify >> Expand >> Make it 2px. Now make a fill layer with the color white. Now make sure the white layer is UNDER the vector mask layer. This is what I have so far.
2. If you're making this just for you than define a trippy psd as a pattern. (note: If you're making it into a deco than >> click here << if you don't know how to make it an editable pattern.)
THEN Hold in CTRL on your keyboard and click the vector mask thumbnail. Click Layer >> New fill layer >> Pattern >> ok. Should see something like this now
This is what my layers look like
3. click on the 2px stroke white layer and add a 1px scanline pattern stroke to it.
4. Create a new layer (make sure it's on the top of the layers). Hold in CTRL on your keyboard and click the vector mask layer. Put whatever brushes you want on the new layer!
