flower beam tutorial

I've seen like a million things put on beams throughout the years, so you can put literally anything there. This is just a simple tutorial on putting these little flowers on it! You could add more than 2 in a row too.

You'll be making something like:

the steps

1. Save this brush and define it.

2. Finish your sign completely. Do your beam. If you don't know how to make a beam than {CLICK HERE}

Place the flowers (or whatever you're using) on the beam close to the areas that turn.
Outlined them in red so you can find them easier since they're currently blending.

3. Hold in CTRL on your keyboard and click the thumbnail preview of the layer that your brush is on. The brush will be outlined now.

4. Click "Layer >> New Fill Layer >> Gradient >> OK"
You can do a gradient that repeats more. It doesn't matter.

5. Move the gradient layer to the right 2 times and down 2 times.
Duplicate the gradient layer.
On the 1st gradient layer, click "Filter >> Noise >> Add Noise >> Rasterize >>"

6. On the 2nd gradient layer, move it to the right and down 1-2 times. Click on the white flower layer (or whatever color yours is) and sharpen it one time!
