preppy sign tutorial

Example:

The Steps

1. Pick a color scheme.

Pick a cutout.

Pick a vector.
{CLICK HERE} for loveblush's premade vectors or {CLICK HERE} for loveblush's vector psds!

I picked these.

Used Emmies cutout for this ♥

2. Make a document 350px width and 467px height.
Drag the sitemodel layer onto the sign document. Make your sitemodel black and white! If you don't know how to make them black and white, click {HERE}. Now change the colors on the vector psd to match your color scheme.

3. Choose what outline you want to do around the sitemodel. I'm doing the one in {THIS} tutorial. I also added a gradient to her clothes > Click {HERE} if you don't know how.
I have this now:

4. Pick a deco you want to put on the sign and drag it onto the signs document. You can find this deco in my deco psd resources.

5. Ok so now you can add whatever you want.

This splatter deco is in my deco psd resources. The nasa brushes I got from mascara and then added the patterns and colors to them. You can check out these two tutorials to learn how to do those things.

{TWO}

I could also make the nasa brushes a greyish.

6. Now you have to add text! Decide what you wanna do. I have text tutorials and text psds on this website if you're struggling.

7. Now add a border psd!

You can do so many different things in signs so this is just one example. Please do not straight up copy my sign in any type of way lol. Also, you do not have to use anyones deco, border, vector, text, or any other psds. You can also make your own (once you learn how!)
