Preppy Stroke Tutorial

Lots of different strokes you can do, but this is one of the most common.

What you'll need:
♥ This scanline pattern >> click here <<
♥ Gradient of your choice.

What you'll be making:
A stroke around the sitemodel like the one that's below

The Steps

1. Make sure the sitemodel is already cut out, sharpened, black & white or whatever else you need it to be.

2. Double click the layer and the Layer Styles will pop up (where you can do strokes, drop shadows and all that).
If the double click doesn't work than right click and click "blending options".

3. Click stroke and match your settings to mine. I used #ffffff. Then click "OK"

4. Create a new layer and merge it with the stroke layer. If you don't know how to do this than { CLICK HERE }

5. Add another stroke and match your settings to mine. I use #333333 or #535353 or #2b2b2b. Then click "OK"

6. Repeat step 4.

8. Add another stroke and match your settings to mine, but of course with your own gradient. {Please keep in mind you can move the angle around if you want & you can use a regular gradient instead of the triple one like I used. Sometimes I use the regular gradient at other angles} click "OK".

9. Repeat step 4.

10. You're going to be adding a "Stroke" and "Drop Shadow" this time. Match both of the settings to mine but for the stroke use either your scanline pattern or the one I have provided for you.
