  • reflecting text v2 tutorial

    What you'll need:
  • One of the Photoshop Programs

  • What you'll be making:

    The Steps

    1. Once you're done designing your text, create a new layer and drag it underneath the text. Right click on the text layer and click Merge down.

    2. Duplicate the text. On the original layer (bottom layer) click "Edit >> Transform >> Flip Vertical" and drag the text directly under the original text.

    3. Click on the eraser tool. Find the fuzzy looking circle brush that's 45px. Use that to erase like half of the text. Set the layers opacity to 70%.

    4. This part is totally up to you. It sometimes makes the reflect look better. Go to the blending options of the reflecting layer, Click Gradient Overlay and match your settings to mine.
