  • starkles v3 tutorial

For this tutorial, I'm using one of my starkle clusters. You can find this one and more on my brushes page >> click here I forgot to make the cluster smaller in this tutorial cause I was half asleep when I made this.

    What you'll need:
  • One of the Photoshop Programs

  • What you'll be making:
You can choose if you want the darker or lighter starkles.

    The Steps

    1. Place the brushes down in a white or greyish/black color. For white, use color #ffffff and for the grey/black use #404040.
    this is it in white.

    2. Hold in CTRL on your keyboard click the thumbnail/preview of the layer that the cluster brush is on. I outlined the thumbnail below incase you don't know what I'm talking about.

    3. Click "Select >> Modify >> Expand >> Exand by: 1 or 2 pixels.
Click "Layer >> New Fill Layer >> Gradient >> choose your gradient"

On the gradient layer, add a dropshadow of 0 distance, 0 spread, 5 size. Opacity: 30%.
    You can add glitter too.

    4. Click on the original layer. Click on the magic wand tool. Click inside of one of the open starkles, click layer >> new fill layer >> pattern. Do the same with any other starkles if you want them to have different patterns.

    5. Add some grunge on the original layer.

    Finished Product:
