trippy vector mask tutorial

You'll be making something like:

the steps

1. If you don't know how to use/place a vector mask than please do that first.

Hold in the CTRL key and click the vector mask thumbnail. (if you don't understand that than check out step 1 on this (click here) tutorial. Click Select >> Modify >> Expand >> Make it 2px. Now make a fill layer with the color white. Now make sure the white layer is UNDER the vector mask layer. This is what I have so far.

2. Open the trippy psd you want in it. Drag it onto the document with the vector mask. Put it above the vector mask. Now hold in CTRL on your keyboard and click the vector mask thumbnail. The area of your vector mask should be outlined now. Click Select >> Inverse.

3. Ok NOW PAY FREAKING ATTENTION LOL! Click in the little black area of the first color of the trippy.

Click the backspace key on your keyboard. All of the first color should be deleted from the OUTSIDE of the vector mask.

Now do the same with the 2nd color

And now with the last 2 colors.

4. Now do the same with any extra crap in the trippy psd (like patterns, glitters, whatever)
