website bottom image tutorial / bottom deco

This is what I'm talking about. The deco that goes at the bottom of the layout.
Mine in this picture is just snow I made, but you can put whatever you want in yours obvs!


the steps

1. Put this coding on your style.css page


  • bottom: you will need to move the number according to your deco, so adjust the number after step #2 if it needs to be moved.
    (NOTE: you might have to clear your computers cache to see the changes)

  • height: Change this depending on the size of your deco. I usually make mine a little bigger height than my actual deco/bottom image/ whatever you call it.

  • background: put your deco url inside the ().

    • 2. Put this coding on your header.php page. Depending on your layout, it might need to go outside of the div id container.



    3. Now it should show up in your layout. If it doesn't, clear your computers cache!
